Dining Table Card Policy

Table card program

  • To enhance communication with students, Housing & Dining Services has made table caddies available at all dining center tables with a slot that permits the distribution of notices and announcements.  The primary purpose of the Table Card Program is for Housing & Dining Services and CSU to communicate with its visitors.  Non-CSU groups are not permitted to utilize the program.  CSU affiliated groups (Housing & Dining Services partners, departments, and registered student organizations) who wish to use this program are required to follow these guidelines:
    • CSU – affiliated groups will sign up for a table card slot online using the WooCommerce scheduling tool.
    • Reservations are made on a first-come first-serve basis and cost $40/week at the time of reservation via Kuali Internal Order. Credit card payments are available for groups without an internal account.
    • Up to three separate table cards per week are designated for CSU-affiliates.
    • All reservations must include final artwork at the time of booking.
    • Two-sided submissions are acceptable, but there is no guarantee that the backside will be displayed (depending on the dining center).
    • Reservations are guaranteed only AFTER you have received a confirmation email.

Submission and Approval

    • Table card content must be appropriate and align with the University and Department’s vision, values, and Principles of Community prior to printing, which will be initiated when you upload artwork to your reservation.
    • Ads should ONLY be printed after receiving approval on your artwork from RDS.
    • Reservations are available only during the academic year and run Monday – Sunday.
    • PRINTING
      • Table cards must be printed on a quarter sheet (4.25” x 5.5”) recyclable CARD STOCK paper; (standard weight copy paper is not rigid enough).  Duplex printing is permitted.
      • For consecutive weeks (back-to-back) – Print one set of tablecards for every two weeks (EX: Reserving 5 weeks in a row: Print 3 sets of cards; Reserving 2 weeks in a row: Print 1 set of cards) *We only keep table cards up for two weeks at a time due to card cleanliness.*
      • For NON-consecutive weeks – Print one set of tablecards per week
    • Table cards must be printed, sorted per dining center, and delivered to the Palmer Center room 105 by 4:00 pm the Wednesday before your reservation.  Residential Dining Services will deliver and distribute all table cards. Failure to provide the Table Cards at the time of your reservation will still result in the $40.00 charge, as the spot was already reserved for you.
      • If your reserved week is right after a school break, please have them delivered the week prior to the break.
    • Distributing table cards in the dining centers is not allowed, and any distributed and found without a reservation will be immediately removed and recycled.
